We’re halfway through October and you know what means: An almost playback!
Huh? How do you have an almost playback? By having the Pattern and General Order share a date when they last appeared together, of course! At least, that’s what happened in the October 15, 2019 Mega Millions drawing. The fallout was a jackpot jump to $71 million.
General Lottery Analysis
The {3-1-1-1} Pattern made its 93rd appearance with 4, 12, 14, 35, 70, and MB 2.
This Pattern has now played in 18.4% of the 506 Mega Millions drawings.
The [3-1-1-1] General Order, now with 35 appearances, has played in 37.6% of the 93 drawings where {3-1-1-1} was the winning Pattern. Once all 506 drawings have been taken into consideration, this General Order has played 37.6% of the time.
Prior to Tuesday night, both the {3-1-1-1} Pattern and the [3-1-1-1] General Order played October 8th, 2019.
A “full playback” didn’t come about for a good reason. Tuesday night saw the debut of the 3 0 1 0 1 1 Specific Order! With that said, this Specific Order has now played in 2.86% of the 35 drawings where the General Order was [3-1-1-1]. Additionally, it has played in 1.08% of the 93 drawings where {3-1-1-1} was the winning Pattern and in 0.20% of all 506 drawings.
Three-Number Combination(s)
There were also three repeating Three-Number Combinations:
- 4, 12, 35 (Debuted March 25th, 2016)
- 12, 14, 70 (Debuted May 23rd, 2014)
- 12, 14, MB 2 (Debuted December 20th, 2016)
Last year saw a monster jackpot unleashed around Halloween. Although the odds of it happening again this year are unlikely, will Mega Millions dare to dream big?
