The Mega Millions Solstice Cool Down

Happy (belated) Solstice everyone! June 21st was a changing of the guard, season-wise. While Alaskans are playing a midnight baseball game, Kiwis are throwing on their winter coats.

With summer comes heat; if it’s too hot and you exert yourself too hard, you’re going to get exhausted. That’s what happened to Mega Millions Friday night. After the blowout earlier this week, the lottery took it easy and at the same time, prevented a grand prize winner. The jackpot, as a result, rose to $60 million.

General Lottery Analysis

The {2-1-1-1-1} Pattern made its 208th appearance with winning numbers 13, 30, 36, 48, 62, and MB 18.

Of the 473 Mega Millions drawings, this Pattern has played 44% of the time and was last seen June 14th, 2019.

The [1-2-1-1-1] General Order, now with 51 appearances, has played in 24.5% of the 208 drawings where {2-1-1-1-1} was the winning Pattern. Once all 473 drawings have been taken into consideration, this Pattern has played 10.8% of the time. Prior to Friday night, the [1-2-1-1-1] General Order played June 11th, 2019.

Now with 10 appearances, the 1 0 2 1 1 1 Specific Order has played in 19.6% of the 51 drawings where the General Order was [1-2-1-1-1]. This Specific Order has also played in 4.81% of the 208 drawings where {2-1-1-1-1} was the winning Pattern and in 2.11% of all 473 drawings. The 1 0 2 1 1 1 Specific Order was last seen February 15th, 2019.

Three-Number Combination(s)

As part of the recuperation phase, Mega Millions didn’t partake in any repeating Three-Number Combination shenanigans. Perhaps next time?

There’s approximately one week left in June and the {2-1-1-1-1} Pattern came back. Could this Pattern try for a streak to end the month, or was Friday night a precursor for a quiet finale?
