El Amor de Las Loterías (Love of the Lotteries)

Happy Valentine’s Day! Before getting to tonight’s analysis, I would like to thank once more my guest blogger Romulun Harris for filling in on such short notice.

After a busy first half of the month, what with Pattern streaks and love affairs with repeating Combinations, February 13, 2019 was much quieter. Lotto Texas found its breakup with the {3-2-1} Pattern to be brief. Powerball decided to go with another Pattern, dashing the hopes of a second date with the {4-1-1} Pattern. With the prizes unclaimed, the lotteries’ respective prizes rose to $7.25 million and $260 million.

Lotto Texas

General Lottery Analysis

Lotto Texas snuggled with the {3-2-1} Pattern as it made an encore with winning numbers 9, 14, 17, 30, 37, and 42. This Pattern has now played 859 times.

Of the 1629 Lotto Texas drawings, this Pattern has played in 52.7% of them.

Now with 162 appearances, the 3 1 2 Specific Order has played in 18.9% of the 859 drawings where the Pattern was {3-2-1}. This Specific Order has also played in 9.94% of all 1629 drawings.

It turned out that not only did Lotto Texas take back the {3-2-1} Pattern, it took back the 3 1 2 Specific Order, too! Both the {3-2-1} Pattern and the 3 1 2 Specific Order were last seen February 9, 2019.

Four-Number Combination(s)

There were no repeating Four-Number Combinations; there just wasn’t enough love to go around.

Powerball

General Lottery Analysis

The {3-1-1-1} Pattern won Powerball’s heart with winning numbers 2, 8, 14, 24, 69, and PB 26.

This Pattern has now played 70 times and with 351 Powerball drawings, it has played 19.9% of the time. We last saw this Pattern in the December 19, 2018 drawing.

The [3-1-1-1] General Order made its 19th appearance and has now played in 27.1% of the 70 drawings where {3-1-1-1} was the winning Pattern. Once all 351 drawings have been taken into consideration, this General Order has played 5.41% of the time. Prior to Wednesday night, the [3-1-1-1] General Order played November 3, 2018.

Now with two appearances, the 3 1 0 0 1 1 Specific Order has played in 10.5% of the 19 drawings where the General Order was [3-1-1-1]. This Specific Order has also played in 2.86% of the 70 drawings where {3-1-1-1} was the winning Pattern and in 0.57% of all 351 drawings. The 3 1 0 0 1 1 Specific Order made its first appearance on October 11, 2017.

Three-Number Combination(s)

Wanting to get (re)acquainted with the {3-1-1-1} Pattern, Powerball held off on the repeating Three-Number Combinations.

Was Wednesday night a harbinger for the second half of the month, or was it just a temporary rest? We’ll have to wait until Saturday to see if Lotto Texas and the {3-2-1} Pattern continue their relationship and Powerball’s affection with the {3-1-1-1} Pattern is more than a one lottery stand.
