A Monster Unleashed

Insanity! Inconceivable! Yet, here we are, face-to-face with a monster. A big ‘un, too.

Mega Millions continued its rampage October 12th. A growth spurt sent the grand prize soaring to $654 million! What’s more is that this wasn’t the only way Mega Millions left its mark.

General Lottery Analysis

After a {2-1-1-1-1} Pattern fireball October 9th, another round came out Friday. The 175th appearance was thanks to winning numbers 4, 24, 46, 61, 70, and MB 7.

Of the 401 Mega Millions drawings to date, this Pattern has played in 43.6% of them.

There were no other encores, but the effects of the rampage were just as strongly felt.

The [1-1-1-2-1] General Order made its 41st appearance and has now played in 23.4% of the 175 drawings where {2-1-1-1-1} was the winning Pattern. This General Order has also played in 10.2% of all 401 drawings. Prior to Friday night, the [1-1-1-2-1] General Order played on September 11, 2018.

Now with four appearances, the 1 1 0 1 2 1 Specific Order has played in 9.76% of the 41 drawings where the General Order was [1-1-1-2-1]. This Specific Order has also played in 2.29% of the 175 drawings where {2-1-1-1-1} was the winning Pattern and in roughly 1% of all 401 drawings. We last saw the 1 1 0 1 2 1 Specific Order on June 1, 2018.

Three-Number Combination(s)

Amidst the rubble were two repeating Three-Number Combinations:

  • 24, 46, MB 7 (Debuted August 22, 2017)
  • 4, 46, 70 (Debuted April 15, 2014)

There’s a good chance that yet another growth spurt will take place before Tuesday. Will a {2-1-1-1-1} three-peat be the thing that stops it, or will the grand prize grow even more? All that’s known is that whoever slays the beast is going to walk away much richer.
