The $522 Million Dollar Bubble Burst (California Dreams)

All good things come to an end.

All bubbles eventually burst.

Cliched yes, but these statements were true in the aftermath of the July 24th Mega Millions drawing. The sole winner of the grand jackpot hailed from the Golden State! The prize has simmered down to $40 million, which itself is none too shabby.

Now to unmask the Pattern and its General/Specific Order cohorts.

General Lottery Analysis

With winning numbers 1, 2, 4, 19, 29, and MB 20, the {3-1-1-1} Pattern has played 71 times.

This Pattern has played in 18.8% of the 378 Mega Millions drawings and was last seen on June 22nd, 2018.

The [3-1-1-1] General Order made its 26th appearance and has now played in 36.6% of the 71 drawings where {3-1-1-1} was the winning Pattern. This General Order has also played in 6.88% of all 378 drawings. Prior to Tuesday night, the [3-1-1-1] General Order played alongside the {3-1-1-1} Pattern in the earlier-mentioned June 22nd drawing.

Now with four appearances, the 3 1 1 0 0 1 Specific Order has played in 15.4% of the 26 drawings where the General Order was [3-1-1-1]. This Specific Order has also played in 5.63% of the 71 drawings where {3-1-1-1} was the winning Pattern. Finally, when looking at all 378 drawings, this Specific Order has played 1.06% of the time. A playback (Pattern, General Order, and Specific Order played together on a previous date) was not meant to be.  The 3 1 1 0 0 1 Specific Order was last seen on February 2nd, 2018.

Someone claiming the crazy-high jackpot was enough momentum for Mega Millions. There were no repeating Three-Number Combinations this time.

Now that things have settled down and July is ending soon, will the {3-1-1-1} Pattern make an encore in Friday’s drawing?
