The {2-1-1-1-1} Pattern Streak Blocker

Some things seemed inevitable May 22nd. The Rockets were sure to lose against the Warriors (hint: they didn’t), and the {2-1-1-1-1} Pattern was going to make a fifth consecutive appearance. After all, this Pattern is comfortable with “five-peats”, if you will. “Six-peats”, even. But, the streak was blocked (and the jackpot climbed). Which Pattern knocked the {2-1-1-1-1} Pattern off its perch? And were there any repeating Three-Number Combinations?

Three Number Combination(s)

What good is a streak smasher without repeating Three-Number Combinations, right? There were in fact three of them:

  • 16, 17, 36 (Debuted June 9, 2015)
  • 16, 17, 48 (Debuted April 26, 2016)
  • 17, 21, 36 (Debuted March 27, 2015)

Will the {3-1-1-1} Pattern make an encore Friday night, or will the {2-1-1-1-1} Pattern try to re-establish a streak?
