Lotto Texas and Powerball are worlds apart, and May 19^th proved the point. The Texas lottery had a quiet night, what with there being no jackpot winner. But, the Pattern there was like a boomerang. You’ve tossed it, and you think it’s gone, but it comes right back.

As for Powerball, Saturday night was truly that lottery’s time to shine. A player in New Jersey is now $315 million richer, and five players in Florida, Texas, Minnesota, and New York will have $1 million more. Of course, that wasn’t all Powerball had to offer. We’ll get to that momentarily.
