The Saturday Night Lottery Mania

January 22, 2022 was when it happened. A great madness descended upon the lottery world. Lotto Texas saw both and encore and a playback. This was minor compared to the madness that afflicted Powerball. There, a repeating Four-Number Combination surfaced. Naturally, a repeating Four-Number Combination never acts alone, and to say nothing of the other repeating Three-Number Combinations that didn’t spring from it! This sea of madness fueled the rise of the Lotto Texas and Powerball jackpots to $7.25 million and $82 million, respectively.

Lotto Texas

General Lottery Analysis

With 16, 25, 33, 45, 46 and 49, the {3-2-1} Pattern made its 1033rd appearance.

  • 25, 33, 45, 49 (Debuted October 28, 2015)

Four-Number Combination

Repeating Four-Number Combination 8, 14, 67 and PB 17 debuted September 6, 2017.

Three-Number Combinations

Naturally, a repeating Four-Number Combination is accompanied by four repeating Three-Number Combinations:

  • 8, 14, 67
  • 8, 14, PB 17
  • 14, 67, PB 17
  • 8, 67, PB 17

All the Combinations above debuted in the previously mentioned September 6th drawing. However, Powerball wasn’t done! Three more repeating Three-Number Combinations came forth:

Playbacks and a bombardment of Combinations will certainly shake things up in a lottery routine! One thing to keep an eye on in the week ahead is that {3-2-1} Pattern in Lotto Texas. That’s the most common Pattern in that lottery, and it’s been known to show up multiple times in a row. As to whether we’ll see another bombardment of repeating Combinations and more playbacks? That remains to be seen.

Mega Millions’ Friday Night Routine

Routines are an inescapable part of life. From getting ready for work or school to even just sleeping in on weekends, routines are what give our lives some semblance of order. Thing is, sticking to the same routine can get boring; it’s good to shake it up now and again. Lotteries are good at that!

Take Mega Millions. Earlier this week, it got a visit from the {2-1-1-1-1} Pattern. Now, there could have been a Pattern encore this past Friday night. After all, this Pattern is notorious for such. Instead, Mega Millions took a different approach. Sure, there was wailing and gnashing of teeth from those who partook in the Friday night routine (or just wanted to shake it up a bit), but if there’s one saving grace, the jackpot ballooned to $396 million.

General Lottery Analysis

The {3-1-1-1} Pattern made its 141st appearance in the January 21, 2022 drawing with 38, 45, 46, 55, 67 and MB 18.

There have now been 743 Mega Millions drawings, and this Pattern has played 19% of the time. The {3-1-1-1} Pattern wasn’t gone for long. This Pattern played exactly one week prior, in the January 14, 2022 drawing.

The [1-3-1-1] General Order, now with 45 appearances, has played in 31.9% of the 141 drawings where {3-1-1-1} was the winning Pattern. Once all 743 drawings have been taken into consideration, this General Order has played 6.06% of the time. The [3-1-1-1] General Order was last seen July 9, 2021.

As the Mega Millions jackpot continues on its upward trek, will it meet its match next week, or keep on growing?

Out With the Australia Plays, In With the…

A love for the Australia Play took hold in the lottery world these past few drawings! Lotto Texas went back and forth, and Powerball’s love for the Australia Play was expressed with an encore this past Monday.

The night of January 19, 2022 was another matter. Although both Lotto Texas and Powerball set the Australia Play aside, they continued to operate on the same wavelength. That is, they went for a more common Pattern. This approach helped the jackpots rise to $7 million and $76 million, respectively.

It may be cold outside, but Lotto Texas and Powerball continue to heat up. Seeing as both lotteries went for their most common Patterns, it remains to be seen if either one or both Patterns will return Saturday night. And, should those Pattern encores come to pass, will the jackpots go up, or will they go down?

A Mega Millions’ Jackpot’s Guide to Surviving January

Mega Millions finished 2021 strong and showed no signs of weakening Tuesday night. With Powerball having been knocked off its feet earlier this month and Lotto Texas being its ever-reserved self, the Mega Millions jackpot reigned supreme! Going into Friday night, a beast of a jackpot got a boost from the most seen Pattern in Mega Millions. That Pattern has a way of going beyond just making an encore appearance and has assisted jackpots in their quest for growth. Will the {2-1-1-1-1} Pattern assist the jackpot once again Friday night, or will it be the reset button?

Australia Play: The Lottery Saga

The Hidden Strength of the {3-1-1-1} Pattern

“Never judge a book by its cover.”

“Big things come in small packages.”

We’ve all heard something like the above phrases at one time or another. The gist is to never assume, and that goes double for lottery patterns. Take the {3-1-1-1} Pattern in Mega Millions. Compared to the likes of, oh, the {2-1-1-1-1} Pattern, it doesn’t get a lot of play. Given that, one would think this {3-1-1-1} Pattern is a “small” player, no big deal.

You should know by now, or will know, that there are no small players in lottery!

Friday night’s showing of the {3-1-1-1} Pattern had the power to enrich or tease. This Pattern opted for the latter approach. As frustrating as it was for so many, the jackpot boost to $347 million was a silver lining.

General Lottery Analysis

The {3-1-1-1} Pattern of January 14, 2022 was thanks to 5, 8, 13, 22, 48 and MB 25. This Pattern has now played 140 times.

There have now been 741 Mega Millions drawings, and this Pattern has now played 18.9% of the time. The {3-1-1-1} Pattern was last seen December 21, 2021.

The [3-1-1-1] General Order, now with 55 appearances, has played in 39.3% of the 140 drawings where {3-1-1-1} was the winning Pattern. Once all 741 drawings have been taken into consideration, this General Order has played 7.42% of the time. The October 29, 2021 drawing was the last time the [3-1-1-1] General Order played.

Now with five appearances, the 3 1 0 1 0 1 Specific Order has played in 9.09% of the 55 drawings where the General Order was [3-1-1-1]. This Specific Order has also played in 3.57% of the 140 drawings where {3-1-1-1} was the winning Pattern and in 0.67% of all 741 drawings. How Jackpots Stay Warm

One good thing about January is that the days start to get longer. Thing is, that’s when winter really begins; the Christmas season is usually an appetizer. The snowplows and shovels get a workout, kids (and adults) pray for a snow day, and those in warmer climates hope, sometimes in vain, that they get to try on their winter wardrobe at least once this season. Those who hate the cold would rather hibernate, or at least stay inside where it’s warm. Better yet, they’d travel to the Southern Hemisphere if they could. After all, it is summer down there. Maybe with a little help from Lotto Texas and Powerball, the escape to a warm, far away place will come to pass.

Lotto Texas and Powerball crushed those dreams this past Wednesday night. In fact, Lotto Texas, saw fit to go Down Under alone. That had the effect of keeping the jackpot kicking and hopping up to $6.25 million. Powerball saw to it that its jackpot would be better off rising to a toasty $48 million than exposed to the cold.

Lotto Texas

General Lottery Analysis

Lotto Texas felt January 12, 2022, was a good night for an Australia Play. With winning numbers 7, 12, 19, 33, 39 and 40, both the {2-2-2} Pattern and the 2 2 2 Specific Order made their 267th appearance.

Lotto Texas getting its kicks in. Source: lotterytrend.com.

An Australia Play has been featured in 13.7% of the 1954 Lotto Texas drawings and was last seen December 29, 2021.

Similar Spread

Wednesday night’s Australia Play was no mere Australia Play! The numbers had a spread of 05:07:14: 06:01. If we look at the winning numbers of May 18, 2016, 20, 26, 40, 47, 48 and 53, they had a spread that night of 06:14:07:01:05. Remember that even though the differences between numbers were the same on both nights, their orders (and the numbers played) were different.

Four-Number Combination(s)

Of course, Lotto Texas went above and beyond with a trio of repeating Four-Number Combinations:

  • 7, 19, 33, 40 (Debuted March 10, 2001)
  • 12, 19, 33, 40 (Debuted April 10, 2010)
