A Jackpot’s Speedy Recovery

August is here at last, as well as all the mixed feelings that come with it. Yes, it’s still blazing hot outside and oldsters lament about how schools started after Labor Day, and yet, August is a month of beginnings. The new school year, for one. For Mega Millions, August means dusting off and growing the jackpot again.

Tuesday night proved to be a fruitful one! The same Pattern that knocked the jackpot down to size helped pick it back up again. Once the dust settled, the jackpot had grown to $36 million.

The current jackpot is a far cry from the billion-dollar behemoth from a week ago, but it’s nothing to sneeze at! A $16 million jump is one heck of a start. Question is, though, will the {2-1-1-1-1} Pattern return to kick off the weekend?

Mega Millions’ Jackpot Splashdown

When other business (read: day job) calls, you gotta do what you gotta do. A special thanks to our Mega Millions analyst Romulun Harris for doing the Wednesday and Thursday night blog posts.

The end of July is a bittersweet time. As sweltering hot as it has been, it’s hard to believe that another school year is right around the corner. Those “Back to School” ads make it hard to forget, don’t they? This year, we can add another bittersweet moment: the toppling of the Mega Millions jackpot.

On the night of July 29, 2022, a lone player from Illinois took on Mega Millions and walked away a billionaire (pre-tax, of course). Naturally, the jackpot reset to $20 million.

General Lottery Analysis

The billion-dollar jackpot was brought down by the {2-1-1-1-1} Pattern, with winning numbers 13, 36, 45, 57, 67 and MB 14. This Pattern has now played 339 times.

As Mega Millions recuperates, what awaits this lottery in August?

Welcome to Gold Mountain!

Greetings Lotterytrend fans! Romulun Harris here! For over the past three months, since April 19, 2022, the Megamillions jackpot has continued its increasing streak. As a result, the Lottery World Reserve has gold bricks worth a tremendous $1.02 billion! Anyone can be set for life like that. Ahem. Megamillions also had a couple of more big surprises, which you’ll find out shortly in the details.

Last night on July 26, 2022, six gold nuggets came in the form of winning numbers 7, 29, 60, 63, 66, and MB15.

The {3-1-1-1} Pattern made its 154th appearance and has played in 19.35% of all 796 drawings. It last played on July 22, 2022.

The [1-1-3-1] General Order made its 45th appearance and has played in 29.22% of all 154 drawings associated with the {3-1-1-1} Pattern and 5.65% of all 796 drawings. Like the {3-1-1-1} Pattern, this General Order last played on July 22, 2022.

Like the {3-1-1-1} Pattern and [1-1-3-1] General Order, this Specific Order last played on July 22, 2022.

That’s right, folks! Along with a jackpot worth over a billion dollars, the Lottery World has also experienced a playback!

And for the final surprise, a special train pulled into the station with five baggage cars of gold. The gold in each baggage car turned out to be a Three-Number Combination Repeat, or in this case, five Three-Number Combination Repeats:

Things are definitely heating up for the Lottery World this summer, and I’m not talking about the weather. Of all the summer surprises, Megamillions’ billion-dollar jackpot has got to be the biggest surprise of them all. But the big question remains: Who will win? This is Romulun Harris signing off. Stay safe and good luck!

Lottery-Patented “Jackpot Gro”

Mega Millions received another helping of Jackpot Gro (patent pending) Tuesday night, giving the prize a $100 million boost. Yes, the jackpot grew from $530 million to $630 million!

Mega Millions: Half-Billion Club Member

And so, it happened. Three months of build-up and suspense has led to this moment. On the night of July 15, 2022, Mega Millions pulled up a chair at The Half-Billion Club, all thanks to the many who tried and failed to claim the prize. As the jackpot was bordering the half-billion-dollar mark, it went above and beyond to $530 million.

Will Mega Millions be so bold as to have a billion-dollar jackpot before summer’s end?

Two Scoops of Mega Millions Brand {3-1-1-1} Pattern

You’re never too old for ice cream or popsicles! They can be enjoyed year-round, sure, but there’s something about enjoying them in summer that makes us giddy and feel like kids again. Who doesn’t like to cool down with a scoop of Rocky Road or chocolate with extra sprinkles? Heck, why have one scoop when you can have two?

Likewise, why play a Pattern once when you can play it again? It’s even more special when it’s not the {2-1-1-1-1} Pattern.

Mega Millions served another helping of the {3-1-1-1} Pattern Tuesday night, and what a helping! Not even an extreme case of brain freeze could stop the jackpot from reaching $480 million.

Will Mega Millions be serving up a third scoop of {3-1-1-1} Pattern goodness Friday night?

Watering the Jackpot

Plants need the right balance of water, sunlight, and nutrients to thrive. Lottery jackpots are similar. They need the right balance of Patterns, Orders, and repeating Three-Number (or Four-Number) Combinations to flourish. The longer this is maintained, the bigger the jackpot grows, and the Mega Millions jackpot is certainly flourishing!

“Growth” was the word of the evening July 8, 2022, and there was plenty of it. After yet another night of no grand prize winner, the jackpot grew to $440 million.

General Lottery Analysis

Mega Millions and the Pattern Reprisal

Love ‘em or hate ‘em, no Independence Day celebration is complete without fireworks! Even the stodgiest person can be mesmerized by whizzes, whirls, and colorful explosions, be it from the fireworks show hosted by the city proper, or the impromptu one hosted on the neighborhood block. Those who “host” the fireworks show on the block probably had a few holidays where not all the fireworks get used. Sure, they can be saved for the next Fourth of July, or even New Year’s, but why wait? Mega Millions didn’t.

For one, Mega Millions was firing off fireworks as early as July 1st. That festive mood carried over into Tuesday night and pairing that with some leftover fireworks meant another show! The jackpot soared overhead and reached a height of $400 million.
