Combo Enthusiasm

There are freedoms that come with being a lottery. No work or school, for starters. No worries about bills, debts, or any of those “people problems”. No, instead, lotteries have the potential to help people find ways out of bills, debts, and the insanity of the working world. Except, lotteries only do so unwillingly. They love it more when people don’t win the jackpot, or at least not quickly! Why else are Lotto Texas and Powerball coming into tonight’s analysis so full of themselves?

September 13, 2023 was the night for embracing the madness of repeating Combinations. If that weren’t enough, both Lotto Texas and Powerball watched their jackpots grow to $6.5 million and $596 million, respectively.

Last night on September 4, 2023, just as “Summer” (for school, that is) came to an end, Powerball’s jackpot continued to increase in momentum as it reached $461 million. Pattern Flings and Playback Teases

The love for a specific Pattern never lasts long. Lotteries are fickle, you see. One moment, a Pattern may show up for long periods of time, and the next it may show up just once. That fickleness also applies to playbacks. Apparently, deciding to whether to go all-in can be a tricky choice for some lotteries! Saturday nights are prime for lottery “fickleness” to be on display.

June 24, 2023 was one of those Saturday nights when both Lotto Texas and Powerball decided to ditch the prospect of Pattern three-peats. Lotto Texas pursued an infrequently played Pattern, whereas Powerball flirted with the idea of a playback but couldn’t quite commit fully to the idea. Nevertheless, both strategies boosted the lotteries’ respective jackpots to $5.75 million and $440 million.

And Still They Stood

The jackpot reset in Mega Millions Friday night was a reminder that months of accumulating a massive jackpot can be wiped away in a single night. Given what’s happening with Powerball and (especially) Lotto Texas, one wouldn’t have been out of their gourd to think that at least one of these lotteries would have had a date with a jackpot reset Saturday night as well.

Lotto Texas and Powerball were able to dodge the players once again Saturday night. As Mega Millions was left to sit in the corner and tend to its wounds, these two lotteries were busy boosting their jackpots. Lotto Texas grew to an impressive $69.75 million, and Powerball grew to $235 million.

That Spreading Feeling

Looks like Mega Millions started a trend! In our Mega Millions post earlier this week, we covered a similar spread. The urge to push out a similar spread was present for both Lotto Texas and Powerball. Similar spreads weren’t the only similarity these lotteries had! April 5, 2023 was another night of rising jackpots. Rocksteady Lotto Texas grew to $63.25 million, and Powerball’s jackpot grew to $186 million.

Jackpot Growth, So it Goes

They say it’s always the ones you least expect. For as long as we’ve done Lottery Binge, the current behavior in Lotto Texas is something for sure. Never have we seen such determination from a lottery known to bow out gracefully long before the jackpot reaches as high as it has become lately! Lotto Texas, often overshadowed by Powerball and Mega Million, continues to have a jackpot that’s “in their league”, so to speak.

Rather than opt for a Pattern encore, Lotto Texas took to playing a less common Pattern Saturday night. This paid off handsomely, for the jackpot grew to $54.5 million. Meanwhile, Powerball’s nifty handling of an Australia Play boosted the jackpot over there to $86 million.
