Lotto Texas and Powerball’s Weekend Wind Down

For those of us with traditional M-F, 9-to-5 jobs, the weekend can be a welcome breath of fresh air. Whether going into the office, working from home, or a mix of the two, everyone needs time to explore, to unwind, to chill. The act of relaxing is especially important after a busy week, for both man and lottery alike.

Lotto Texas’s reputation of being the most relaxed of the lotteries held strong Saturday night. There was no need for flashy plays to push the jackpot to $10.25 million. Powerball, however, was another story. After producing two repeating Four-Number Combinations in the span of a week, the glamour wore off some. Nonetheless, the beast of a jackpot remained. Taking it easy boosted the jackpot to $421 million.

Will the last week of April mean jackpots that continue to rise for both Lotto Texas and Powerball?

The Patterns Less Played…

What is it they say about the Patterns less played? They don’t play often, obviously, but how does that impact lottery players? Well, in that regard, they’re just like their brethren who show up more often. At least one person is going to walk away much wealthier after a lottery drawing, or there will be much (subdued) anger and disappointment. Yet, that anger and disappointment subside. When no one wins the grand prize, that means another chance, and another chance means even more money to win. After all, how boring would the lottery be if there wasn’t a shakeup now and then?

Lotto Texas and Powerball certainly shook things up Wednesday night! What could have been a night of Pattern repeats, and they certainly had the Patterns that lend themselves to that sort of thing, went in a different direction. By providing exposure to Patterns that don’t play often, they pushed the jackpots upward once again! Lotto Texas ascended gracefully to $7 million, and Powerball barged in with $180 million.

Will the jackpots for Lotto Texas and Powerball continue to rise Saturday night, possibly with the help other not-so-commonly played Patterns?

Shades of Christmas…in January

The days are getting longer, it’s the dead of winter, and it’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas.

Wait, what?! Christmas was last month! True, but it’s colder than it was last month, and there’s always that one person who leaves up Christmas decorations year-round. Let’s not forget that the lottery world doesn’t adhere to our sense of time. Holidays, or shades of them, can strike at any time.

Lotto Texas saw shades of Christmas January 26, 2022, and saw its jackpot rise to $7.75 million. Powerball didn’t see any shades of Christmas (that was last week), but that had no effect on the jackpot. After the dust settled, the Powerball jackpot rose to $104 million.

From a Playback to a Common Pattern

November 17, 2021 was prime time for a playback in Lotto Texas, and Powerball’s most common Pattern returned after a brief absence. The lotteries’ respective jackpots climbed to $10 million and $205 million.

Invasion of the Repeating Four-Number Combinations

For those who don’t partake in Halloween, October 30th is just another day. For everyone else, it’s a “last call” for preparations. Hopefully, you didn’t put off finding a costume or buying candy! Or perhaps costumes and candy aren’t your thing. You prefer watching scary moves or doing the scaring yourself.

Lotto Texas and Powerball aren’t into the haunting business. No spooky noises or jump scares for these two! Instead, they took a similar approach this past Saturday night. October 30, 2021 saw not only a playback for one lottery, but both lotteries saw a repeating Four-Number Combination. Well, that and rising jackpots. Lotto Texas’s jackpot ascended to $8 million, and Powerball’s rested at a comfortable $123 million.

A Spread Here and a Debut There

Lotto Texas and Powerball took things down a notch Saturday night. For starters, the former didn’t see an Australia Play return, and the latter didn’t go as crazy on the repeating Three-Number Combinations as it did last time. Nevertheless, the momentum of rising jackpots was still present. Lotto Texas, with an assist from a not-so-common Pattern, pushed the jackpot to $6.5 million. Powerball also went with the root of playing an uncommonly seen Pattern and sent its jackpot to $65 million.

Before we get to the repeating Four-Number Combinations (mild spoiler: there was one), we need to talk about the similar spread. Saturday night’s numbers had a spread of 01:05:04:01:05. This was similar to what was seen back on May 4, 2002. Then, the winning numbers were 4, 5, 10, 11, 16 and 20, and their spread was 01:05:01:05:04. Will either of these uncommonly played Patterns show up again in Monday night’s drawing?

The Three-peat and a Playback

Lotto Texas and Powerball have healed from the epic takedowns not too long ago. As another week, this past week, came to an end, these lotteries took a methodical approach to keep their jackpots from being reset. October 9, 2021 saw Lotto Texas implement a {4-1-1} Pattern three-peat, and Powerball went with the ultimate playback: The Australia Play. With their respective jackpots increasing to $5.75 million and $38 million, it’s safe to say that the methodical approach was successful!
