Increasing Jackpots and Fallouts

Greetings Lotterytrend fans! Romulun Harris here. October 19, 2022 was when more leaves started falling. One of those leaves was Powerball’s jackpot increasing up to $550 million. And there were even more surprises in those falling leaves, especially with Lotto Texas. And now, the details.

LOTTO TEXAS

Analysis

Some of those falling leaves were in the form of Lotto Texas winning numbers 7, 14, 16, 21, 44, and 45. This resulted in the frequently played {3-2-1} Pattern making its 1094th appearance.

The {3-2-1} Pattern has now occurred in 52.75% of all 2074 Lotto Texas drawings and last played on October 15, 2022.

The 3 1 2 Specific Order, now in its 203rd appearance, has played in 18.56% of the 1094 drawings associated with the {3-2-1} Pattern. It has also played in 9.79% of all 2074 Lotto Texas drawings. The 3 1 2 Specific Order last played on October 12, 2022.

Analysis

Even bigger leaves fell and took the form of a Similar Spread that played on December 1, 2007. That Similar Spread was 23:07:02:01:05. The winning numbers from that similar spread were 8, 31, 38, 40, 41, and 46. Despite the difference in orders, the differences between the numbers are the same.

A Swift Return to the Combination Scene

Earlier this week, Lotto Texas and Powerball took a break from the repeating Combinations. They were able to boost their jackpots just as effectively without them. Then, Saturday night happened. That mid-week rest was enough to give Lotto Texas and Powerball the energy to go wild with repeating Three and Four-Number Combinations! Additionally, their respective jackpots climbed to $7.25 million and $401 million.

Mega Millions’ Not Quite Playback

For Mega Millions, a playback happens when the Pattern, General Order, and Specific Order share a date when they last played. One notable example of a playback is the Australia Play. The {1-1-1-1-1-1} Pattern, [1-1-1-1-1-1] General Order, and the 1 1 1 1 1 1 Specific Order always play together. What about playbacks that are not Australia Plays? These are harder to come by, but that doesn’t stop Mega Millions from thinking about them!

October 7, 2022 was a night where a playback seemed like a good idea, but Mega Millions couldn’t fully commit to one. Lovers of massive jackpots will be pleased to know that lack of a playback didn’t stop the prize from growing to $445 million.

General Lottery Analysis

With winning numbers 6, 11, 29, 36, 55 and MB 21, the {2-2-1-1} Pattern made its 227th appearance.

This Pattern has now played in 27.8% of the 817 Mega Millions drawings.

The [2-2-1-1] General Order, now with 77 appearances, has played in 33.9% of the 227 drawings where {2-2-1-1} was the winning Pattern. Once all 817 drawings have been taken into consideration, this General Order played 9.42% of the time.

Both the {2-2-1-1} Pattern and the [2-2-1-1] General Order previously played September 30, 2022.

Now with nine appearances, the 2 0 2 1 0 1 Specific Order played in 11.7% of the 77 drawings where the General Order was [2-2-1-1]. This Specific Order has also played in 3.96% of the 227 drawings where {2-2-1-1} was the winning Pattern and in 1.10% of all 817 drawings. Prior to Friday night, the 2 0 2 1 0 1 Specific Order played May 29, 2020.

Three-Number Combinations

Repeating Three-Number Combination 11, 29 and 36 debuted October 31, 2014.

Is a playback that isn’t an Australia Play in store for Mega Millions Tuesday night, or will this lottery have other plans?

The Saturday Night Combination Scene

As people are busy living it up on Saturday nights, Lotto Texas and Powerball go about “combinationing”. The act of “combinationing” involves presenting repeating Three or Four-Number Combinations to the world. As of late, Saturday nights have been a boon for the Combination scene, and the October 1, 2022 scene was poppin’!

Both lotteries got in on the combination scene Saturday night. Would you believe that it was Lotto Texas that had the biggest display? This was in addition to a Pattern encore that pushed the jackpot to $6.5 million. Powerball was no slouch, either. A lack of a Pattern encore was no deterrent for the jackpot rising to $336 million.

There have now been 2066 Lotto Texas drawings, and this Pattern has played 52.8% of the time. Recall that the {3-2-1} Pattern played September 28, 2022.

Now with 189 appearances, the 2 3 1 Specific Order has played in 17.3% of the 1090 drawings where {3-2-1} was the winning Pattern. Once all 2066 drawings have been taken into consideration, this Specific Order has played 9.15% of the time. Prior to Saturday night, the 2 3 1 Specific Order played August 10, 2022.

Five Number Combination

The real reason for Lotto Texas’s grand Combination display was the appearance of a repeating Five-Number Combination. The Combination 14, 19, 20, 32 and 52 debuted February 21, 2022. That was seven months ago!

Second Verse, Louder Than the First

In Friday’s post, we were wondering if the {2-2-1-1} Pattern would rule the final week of September. The Pattern encore Tuesday night gives the idea some grounding, but it’s early yet. We’ll have to see if the {2-2-1-1} Pattern is the last Pattern of September, or if Mega Millions has other ideas.

Carryovers and a New Leaf

With a new season in full swing, and two lotteries at play, there were two different approaches to Saturday night’s drawings. One lottery stuck with a Pattern that was featured mid-week. Meanwhile, the other lottery thought a new Pattern was a more fitting start to the season. All things considered, Lotto Texas and Powerball were pleased as punch to see their respective jackpots grow to $5.75 million and $285 million.

A Different Pattern Falls In

Many great changes have fallen upon the world these past few weeks. The most recent change was the changing of the seasons. Fittingly, Mega Millions saw a change in the Pattern line-up Friday night. This lottery welcomed fall (or spring for y’all south of the Equator) without a {2-1-1-1-1} Pattern encore. Nonetheless, the jackpot grew to an astounding $325 million.

Lottery Minds Think Alike…Until They Don’t

Lotto Texas and Powerball read each other’s minds earlier this week. On Monday night, both lotteries played host to an Australia Play. Yes, two Australia Plays in one night! Come Wednesday night, Lotto Texas and Powerball took to different strategies to boost their jackpots. One stuck with the Australia Play, and the other opted for another Pattern. Both strategies proved effective, as Lotto Texas’s jackpot settled into $5.5 million, and Powerball’s bounded to $270 million.

Is Powerball’s “breakup” from the Australia Play short-lived, and will Lotto Texas stick with it Saturday night?

Lotto Texas and Powerball’s Wednesday Restoration

As we wait for Friday, there is one day that serves as a benchmark, a halfway point if you will. Whether you call it Wednesday or Hump Day, it’s understood that once you make it past that day, the rest of the week should be bearable. There are several ways to celebrate making it to mid-week, but if you were like Lotto Texas and Powerball, then you spent Wednesday night resting up.

Save for an Australia Play, the night of September 14, 2022 was a low-key night for the lotteries. Taking a break from the madness proved just as beneficial to giving the jackpots another boost. Lotto Texas’s jackpot line danced to $19 million, and Powerball’s jackpot powered up to $225 million.
