Every night a lottery plays feeds into The Great Jackpot Cycle. Whether they’re towering behemoths or just starting to put on their running shoes, it’s inevitable that jackpots will fall, then rise again. This cycle will repeat for as long as lotteries exist.

Falling for Massive Jackpots

Time flies, doesn’t it? September 22, 2021 was the start of fall. Speaking of fall, a massive jackpot has fallen: Mega Millions! Tuesday night, the last night of the summer, was when the beastly jackpot was brought down. Meanwhile, the jackpots in Lotto Texas and Powerball only went one way. Up.

Lotto Texas was besides itself with a jackpot that rose to $18.75 million. However, it must be said that Powerball’s crossing over the half-billion-dollar mark was a showstopper. The prize there climbed to a dizzying $523 million!

The (traditional) summer is over. All that’s left are the memories and depending on where you live, the heat and humidity. That, and one other thing. There’s still the matter of the Mega Millions jackpot!

The past week-and-a-half have been eventful for Lotto Texas and Powerball. With another day added to their roster, they went all-out with repeating Combinations, Australia Plays, and we haven’t forgotten about Powerball’s {2-1-1-1-1} Pattern streak! Having made the point that yes,  they now also play on Mondays, these lotteries took a breather Wednesday night.
