Saturdays and Power Plays

Lottery Patterns have power levels that vary with each drawing. A jackpot that took months to grow can be brought down in a single night. Sometimes, the same Pattern that forces a jackpot reset can bring the jackpot up ever so slightly, only to knock it back down again. Recently, both Lotto Texas and Powerball know all about how a Pattern doesn’t aways act alone.

Saturday night was a big night for both jackpots and repeating Combinations alike! Both Lotto Texas and Powerball were caught up in the whirlwind of repeating Combinations as their respective jackpots grew to $5.5 million and $291 million, respectively.

Almost five years ago! Will the jackpot be won tonight or will it break its own record and possibly reach $2 billion like Powerball did back on November 7, 2022? This is Romulun Harris signing off and wishing all playing Megamillions tonight good luck! Stay safe!

The Jackpots Climb-eth

Mega Millions’ Billion-Dollar Feeling

With Powerball having been knocked out of the billion-dollar race some time ago, Mega Millions was left standing tall and mighty. Any talk of the jackpot being brought down to size was squashed Friday night. After three months of nurturing (and taunts), the Mega Millions jackpot crossed over the billion dollar line! An assist from a repeating Four-Number Combination wasn’t needed to boost the prize to $1.05 billion.

General Lottery Analysis

Three-Number Combinations

Mega Millions made room for two repeating Three-Number Combinations:

Is Tuesday night the night that Mega Millions will be forced to reset, or will the jackpot rise once more?

Mega Millions’ Mid-Month Breather

If you’ve managed to avoid lottery news, then you should know there are a couple of large jackpots in play. Powerball’s jackpot is on the verge of hitting one billion dollars! Mega Millions isn’t there yet, but the prize could reach that soon enough, looking at Friday’s results.

After several months of utilizing encores and repeating Combinations, Mega Millions took a low-key approach. This paid off, as the jackpot grew to $640 million.

General Lottery Analysis

Is cooling off going to be the path to one billion dollars, or will it bring Mega Millions closer to the jackpot’s (inevitable) reset?

At the Edge of One Billion

Summer is in full swing. The temperatures are rising still (as if it couldn’t get any hotter), and ironically, Back-to-School ads are beginning to pop up like mushrooms. To escape the stress and ennui of modern living, many turn to lotteries. Sure, more money can mean more problems, but the allure of becoming a multimillionaire overnight is too enticing to ignore! Even more difficult to ignore is when there is at least one jackpot on the verge of entering the billion-dollar range. To say that things are heating up in the lottery world as well is an understatement!

July 12, 2023 meant another night of Lotto Texas and Powerball’s jackpots avoiding capture, so to speak. Lotto Texas, ever graceful, boosted the jackpot to $7.75 million. Powerball, by process of elimination, was the one harboring that beastly jackpot. There, the prize grew to $875 million.

Three-Number Combinations

Powerball had enough energy to throw in four repeating Three-Number Combinations:

Will the Powerball jackpot hit the $1 billion mark, or will it be brought down soon?

Lotto Texas and Powerball’s “Common” Soirée

Lotto Texas and Powerball have been going at it for at least 30 years. Whether “just” a state lottery or a lottery that’s playable in all but a few U.S. states and territories, the allure of becoming a (nearly) overnight millionaire has captivated millions. The Saturday night drawings may be the most exciting, and possibly the most gut-wrenching. To think that future employment and retirement prospects can hinge on whether the correct six numbers are selected in the correct order! Even more gut-wrenching is when Lotto Texas and Powerball attempt to be dignified, all while a monster lurks beneath the surface. “Attempt” is the keyword here, as the current momentum is difficult to tamper with!

The night of July 8, 2023 meant a playback and visits from both Lotto Texas’s and Powerball’s most common Patterns. Furthermore, those jackpots saw another boost. The ever-dignified Lotto Texas grew to $7.25 million. Meanwhile, Powerball maintained some composure as the prize soared to $650 million.

Three-Number Combinations

Powerball had enough room for a couple of repeating Three-Number Combinations:

Will Monday night mean another jackpot boost for both Lotto Texas and Powerball?

A Show with Leftover Fireworks

Fireworks! The Fourth of July doesn’t feel complete without them. Even as drones gain popularity, the link between fireworks and the holiday remains strong. So strong, in fact, that some fireworks are popping off for several more days. Mega Millions is more of a “Tuesday/Friday” fireworks popper, and the Friday night popper can be even more wild than Tuesday’s. Sometimes, like this past Friday, the Friday night popper features a Pattern encore and a volley of repeating Combinations. Like Friday night, the jackpot gets a boost; $480 million is now up for grabs.
