In the Heat of the Streak

Heat. Hot as Hades. Those describe summer to a T, but they can also describe May. According to the calendar, it’s still spring, but there’s no denying that the days are getting hotter. Air conditioners are getting a workout, and those who don’t have to wait until Memorial Day weekend before the pool opens are taking full advantage. Lately, it appears that as the thermometer readings go up, things are heating up for Lotto Texas and Powerball as well.

Since the beginning of May, Lotto Texas has been in the grips of a Pattern streak. For four nights in a row, the {3-2-1} Pattern has stuck around and fueled the rise of the Lotto Texas jackpot. On May 14, 2022, this Pattern came back once more and once more, the jackpot rose, settling at $14.5 million when all was said and done. As for Powerball, a streak wasn’t needed to set the jackpot there to $90 million.

Will the {3-2-1} Pattern streak stick around for Lotto Texas in the week ahead?

With Luck, a Common Pattern

This Friday was another one of those Fridays. Yes, we’re talking about Friday the 13th! Whether you decided to take extra precautions that day (We won’t judge) or treated it like an ordinary day, one thing was constant. Mega Millions.

Why would Mega Millions change up its plans, all because humans decided a certain number that fell on a certain day was somehow unlucky? That evening was just as good as any other evening to stir up trouble, and Mega Millions did so with a commonly played Pattern. And, with a little extra help, that pushed the jackpot to $112 million.

General Lottery Analysis

May 13, 2022 saw the 331st appearance of the {2-1-1-1-1} Pattern. The winning numbers were 11, 41, 43, 44, 65 and MB 13.

The [1-1-2-1-1] General Order, now with 100 appearances, has played in 30.2% of the 331 drawings where {2-1-1-1-1} was the winning Pattern. This Specific Order has also played in 7.55% of the 331 drawings where {2-1-1-1-1} was the winning Pattern and in 3.23% of all 775 drawings. Three-Number Combinations

The “extra help” was in the form of two repeating Three-Number Combinations:

  • 41, 65, MB 13 (Debuted December 10, 2013)

One Lottery Giveth and the Other Runneth with It

Computers are wonderful. They make writing documents easier, provide entertainment, and allow us to connect to people across vast distances instantaneously. As wonderful as computers are, they have a way of doing unpleasant things, like not turning on. Rather than practice percussive maintenance (a fancy of way of saying “Hitting the computer repeatedly”), I passed on yesterday’s Mega Millions post to the Mega Millions analyst himself, Romulun Harris. I want to thank him for filling in on such short notice.

There was quite the kerfuffle in the lottery world Wednesday night. May 11, 2022 was a good night for a repeating Four-Number Combination. The catch, and there’s always a catch with these lotteries, is that the Combination happened in Powerball. Naturally, that meant Powerball went crazy with the repeating Three-Number Combinations, and with it came a jackpot that climbed to $83 million. Meanwhile, Lotto Texas graciously rose to $14.25 million.

Although the Monday Australia Play has stopped, Lotto Texas’s {3-2-1} Pattern keeps its momentum. How long will it last? This is Romulun Harris signing off. Stay safe!

The Weekend Playback with a Side of Combination Explosion

Ever since the end of April, Lotto Texas and Powerball have been fired up. Whether they’re blasting everyone with repeating Combinations or similar spreads, these lotteries don’t appear to be slowing down anytime soon! However, if we take a closer look at what happened May 7, 2022, that’s not entirely true.

One lottery saw a Combination explosion Saturday night, but the other didn’t. Both strategies paid off in the whole “Evading the players” scheme, though. Lotto Texas continued to hold strong with a jackpot of $13 million, and Powerball’s pushed onward to $59 million.

Mega Millions in “Seis de Mayo”

“Seis de Mayo?! What the heck is that?”

We all know about Cinco de Mayo, the day when people can binge on Mexican and Tex-Mex food and partake in the wonders of margaritas with little shame (here is what the holiday is about).  Cinco de Mayo translates to “Fifth of May”, or more casually, “May 5th”. What about Seis de Mayo – May 6th? Well, Sigmund Freud was born on that day in 1857, and 81 years later, the Hindenburg disaster took place.

So, what about May 6, 2022? That’s what we’re all here for, right? We’re not sure what the history books will say about that date, but we can tell you what happened in Mega Millions. The jackpot evaded capture and grew to $86 million.

General Lottery Analysis

The jackpot was able to grow with a little help from the {2-1-1-1-1} Pattern. With winning numbers 16, 21, 33, 52, 70 and MB 10, this Pattern has now played 330 times.

The Spread is Strong with These Two

“May the fourth be with you.”

You probably hear this at least once every May 4th. For those out of the loop, May 4th is the unofficial holiday known as Star Wars Day. Sure, this series can be celebrated any day, but if you think about it, May 4th is fitting!

While “Star Wars” fans got their geek on, Lotto Texas and Powerball were engaged in a battle in a galaxy not so far away. May 4, 2022 was a night of similar spreads, a Pattern encore, and rising jackpots. Lotto Texas ascended to $12.5 million, and Powerball propelled itself to $51 million.

The Mega Millions Pattern Streak Strikeout

Having played three times in a row,  a Pattern streak to start May wouldn’t have been out of the question. After all, this Pattern is no stranger to streaks! However, Mega Millions had other plans. A Pattern streak may not have come to fruition, but the momentum persisted as the jackpot grew to $70 million.
