Patterns and Orders of Christmases Past and Present

Seasons Greetings, Lotterytrend fans! Romulun Harris here! The Holiday Season continued on as Megamillions’ frequently played {2-1-1-1-1} Pattern made its appearance last night on December 9, 2022. And now, the details.

Six geese each laid an egg that represented a winning number. Those winning numbers were 8, 19, 53, 61, 69, and MB19. This resulted—as mentioned earlier—the {2-1-1-1-1} Pattern making its 355th appearance.

Wow! Four events—half of them appearing this Holiday season and the other half at the beginning of the New Year of 2021. A night of coincidences indeed. And we can expect even more surprises as the Holiday Season goes on. This is Romulun Harris signing off. Stay safe!

The Ever-Sublime Jackpot Climb

After toying with both an exact and a similar spread, Lotto Texas cast these aside Wednesday night. Heck, Powerball didn’t even approach those subjects! Instead, the mid-week drawings took a more, shall we say, common approach, to boost their jackpots. The Lotto Texas jackpot reached $19.75 million, and Powerball’s climbed to $116 million.

The 4-1-1 on That Crazy Mega Millions Over There

No two Mega Millions drawings are alike, and there was no better example than what happened December 6, 2022. After taking a sabbatical from repeating Three-Number Combinations Friday night, a bunch of them decided to hitch a ride with an uncommonly seen Pattern! It’s thanks to that Pattern that the jackpot ascended to $379 million.

Some Lotteries Like to Spread Out

After a month of going nuts over repeating Combinations, Lotto Texas and Powerball may going for another approach. That approach, dear readers, is the art of the spread.

December may have just started, but there were hints of change this past Wednesday night. A similar approach happened Saturday night for one lottery while the other went with repeating Combinations. Regardless of approach, both Lotto Texas and Powerball saw their respective jackpots grow to $19 million and $89 million.

Saturday’s winning numbers had a spread of 02:07:10:12:01. Similarly, the winning numbers from March 8, 2014, 18, 25, 35, 47, 49 and 50, had a spread of 07:10:12:02:01. A nice trio! Source: lotterytrend-powerball.com.

Both Lotto Texas and Powerball’s jackpots continue to soar, and the art of the spread seems to be making headway. Still, it’s early yet. We’ll have to see if more similar and/or exact spreads are in the cards for these lotteries, or if they’ll abandon them like fruitcake.

Mega Millions at Peace

Can you believe that 2022 is almost over? Seems like yesterday that the year had started, and now, we’re in the throes of another Christmas season! As busy as it is, and as busy as it can get, it doesn’t do us any good to tire ourselves out. Sometimes, it’s good to just take a breather, and Mega Millions did just that.

After a wild Black Friday and an even wilder Tuesday, Mega Millions thought this past Friday night would be a good time to rest. Christmas is still a few weeks away and besides, the jackpot had yet to be brought down. Growing the prize to $354 million was plenty excitement.

Part of taking a breather meant no repeating Three-Number Combinations.

Given the behemoth of a jackpot currently roosting in Mega Millions, is this lottery resting up for a big blowout come Christmas?

The Exact Art of a Spread

November was the month repeating Combinations reigned supreme. As the month concluded, one would have expected either Lotto Texas or Powerball to take it down a notch. Instead, one of the lotteries opted for an exact spread, and there were more repeating Combinations! Additionally, the jackpots climbed once more, with Lotto Texas growing to $18.75 million and Powerball $81 million.

Recuperation

In the lead-up to Thanksgiving, both Lotto Texas and Powerball went crazy for repeating Combinations. The day before Thanksgiving had a record 17 repeating Combinations! Saturday night was much different. The lotteries figured that too many Combinations in such a short amount of time wasn’t going to be good for them in the long run. Instead, they spent the night too tired (and stuffed) to do much of anything. However, there was just enough energy to keep the players from claiming the jackpots. Lotto Texas held strong at $17.25 million, and the Powerball prize pushed onward to $56 million.

Are more nights with a glut of repeating Combinations on tap, or will they have something else up their sleeves?
