Big Things in “Small” Lotteries

Truthfully, none of the Big Three lotteries covered in this blog (Powerball, Lotto Texas, Mega Millions) are small. Yet, even among giants, there’s a “shorty”. Lotto Texas never seems to unleash monsters or enthrall nations with powerful spells. Despite being the smallest, it has its own quirks and is more than capable of throwing punches. After all, it did have a Pattern play eight times in a row!

There was nothing that grandiose November 10th. Nevertheless, Lotto Texas still had the biggest plays of the night, and with a jackpot now at $5.75 million, its respectable image was maintained. Powerball, notorious for being a powerhouse, crossed the $100 million threshold ($106 million), and largely kept to itself.

So far, the only thing that has been consistent in November has been rising jackpots. Yet, a few of these nights have been accompanied by Pattern streaks, especially in Lotto Texas. Powerball did see its most common Pattern, and one tried and true method to stay on top is through Pattern streaks. Could Wednesday see an encore of either the {4-1-1} or {2-1-1-1-1} Pattern?

Quiet on the 9th

It appeared that the rumors and murmurs of a Pattern streak in Mega Millions were just that. Another Pattern took the reins in the November 9, 2018 drawing, and played up a “normal” angle. Meanwhile, the jackpot crossed over into the “$100 million Club” ($106 million). Although not the beast we saw in October, this was truly grand!

Could the {2-2-1-1} Pattern make an encore Tuesday night, or will the {2-1-1-1-1} try again in establishing a streak?

The Lottery Flare-Up

November 7th was quieter than Saturday night. However, it can be said that Lotto Texas owned the night once again. While its jackpot wasn’t anywhere as large as Powerball’s ($5.5. million vs. $92 million), Lotto Texas always finds a way to go big! Was there another similar spread?

An Encore Force

No matter where you lean on the political spectrum, there is one force that rules us all: money! More specifically, the lottery. The bigger the jackpot, the more power it holds.

Now, it’ll be awhile yet before Mega Millions unleashes another monster upon the masses, but a $90 million grand prize is hefty. The November 6th drawing may have also seen rumblings of a Pattern streak. It’s still early in the month, but this Pattern has a penchant for streaks.

1600 Ghosts

November 3rd belonged to Lotto Texas! This plucky little lottery reached a milestone of 1600 drawings with numbers 1-54. In addition to the grand prize rising to $5.25 million, there were other goodies that we can’t mention just yet. Powerball didn’t slouch either, with a prize now standing at $71 million.

What, exactly, allowed Lotto Texas to seize the night and what was special about Powerball?

Things are off to a busy start for November, although not nearly as crazy as last month! Will the momentum of the {3-2-1} Pattern streak continue to build in Lotto Texas? Could there be a {3-1-1-1} Pattern encore in Wednesday’s Powerball?

Stays at Rest

With the start of November, we’ve officially entered the Christmas season.

(Thanksgiving!? What’s that?)

Seriously, though. We’re coming upon the end of the year and Mega Millions is resting up. Continuing what we experienced Tuesday night, the November 2nd drawing didn’t feature anything grandiose. However, Mega Millions had a pep in its step, the grand prize pushing up to $70 million and a rumbling among repeating Three-Number Combinations.

Will Tuesday’s drawing see a {2-1-1-1-1} Pattern encore, or will another Pattern gets it time in the spotlight?

The Halloween Chill

The word “chill” has other meanings besides scaring someone. One describes a coldness in the air. Another describes the state or act of relaxing. After a wild, crazy, and strange month, Lotto Texas and Powerball took it easy on Halloween. During that period of rest, someone in Texas became $15.25 million richer and Powerball inched up to $53 million.
