Playback Says “What?”

So far this month, Mega Millions has been the quiet lottery. Meanwhile, Lotto Texas and Powerball have had their fill with Pattern streaks and repeating Combinations of the Three and Four-Number kind. November 16th continued the trend, but this past Friday wasn’t too serene. Not only did the grand prize climb to $139 million, it got a boost from a little phenomenon called the playback!

When was that special day that the Pattern, General Order, and Specific Order were last seen together?

General Lottery Analysis

With winning numbers 33, 36, 63, 68, 69, and MB 16, the {3-2-1} Pattern has played 17 times.

Of the 411 Mega Millions drawings so far, this Pattern has played 4.14% of the time.

The [2-3-1] General Order made its ninth appearance and has now played in 52.9% of the 17 drawings where {3-2-1} was the winning Pattern. When taking all 411 drawings into consideration, this General Order has played in 2.19% of them.

Now with two appearances, the 0 0 2 0 3 1 Specific Order has played in 22.2% of the nine drawings where the General Order was [2-3-1]. This Specific Order has also played in 11.8% of the 17 drawings where {3-2-1} was the winning Pattern, and in 0.49% of all 411 drawings.

The {3-2-1} Pattern, [2-3-1] General Order, and the 0 0 2 0 3 1 Specific Order were last seen on July 17, 2018. That date was also the night that Friday’s Specific Order made its debut!

Three Number Combination(s)

There were no repeating Three-Number Combinations this time.

Mega Millions will probably keep to the Thanksgiving spirit and be as quiet as it has been throughout the month. Still, this lottery is known to throw in a surprise or two whenever a holiday is right around the corner. Could the {3-2-1} Pattern pull a zinger and go for an encore Tuesday night?
