{3-2-1} Five in a Row and June Returns to Powerball

In the July 13^th drawings, Lotto Texas basked in the July sun, whereas Powerball was visited by June. More specifically, Powerball was visited by this past June.

Lotto Texas

The winning numbers in the July 13^th, 2016 Lotto Texas drawings were 3, 7, 16, 27, 34, and 46.

As of today, we can say that the {3-2-1} Pattern has made five, yes five consecutive appearances! The past four appearances were on June 29^th, July 2nd, July 6^th, and July 9^th. The July 13^th drawing brought the number of {3-2-1} Pattern appearances up to 711. Given the 1359 Lotto Texas drawings to date, this Pattern has played 52.3% of the time. There is no contest. The {3-2-1} Pattern continues to be far and away the most commonly seen Pattern in Lotto Texas!

The 3 2 1 Specific Order has now played 127 times, and in fact made a previous appearance in the July 2^nd, 2016 drawing. Given the 711 times in which the {3-2-1} Pattern has played, this Specific Order has appeared in approximately 17.9% of these drawings. Taking all 1359 Lotto Texas drawings into account, the 3 2 1 Specific Order has played 9.35% of the time.

The July 13^th, 2016 Lotto Texas drawing also saw a Four-Number Combination play in the form of 16, 27, 34,46. The first time this Combination played was back on September 18^th, 2013.

Powerball

Powerball’s winning numbers for July 13^th, 2016 were 3, 15, 29, 54, 57 and PB 10.

These numbers followed the {1-1-1-1-1-1} Pattern, which in fact played on June 25^th, 2016. The {1-1-1-1-1-1} Pattern has now appeared in 9 of 81 Powerball drawings. Given the {1-1-1-1-1-1} Pattern, we had a [1-1-1-1-1-1] General Order and a 1 1 1 1 1 1 Specific Order. Since this an Australia Play, that means the [1-1-1-1-1-1] General Order and the 1 1 1 1 1 1 Specific Order have also appeared in 9 out of 81 drawings. All three have played in 11.1% of all Powerball drawings.

As we’ve explained in previous posts, an Australia Play is a fascinating event. With Powerball, it means that the Pattern, General Order, and Specific Order are the same. Looking back on fourth grade geography (or a Google search), Australia is the only country that’s also a continent. Not only that, but Australia is the only permanently inhabited continent entirely within the Southern Hemisphere.

There was only one place where June didn’t have a grip on Powerball, and that was in the Three-Number Combination. This Combination was brought to us by 15, 29, and 10, and it first played on January 2^nd, 2016.

As we look ahead to Saturday’s Lotto Texas and Powerball drawings, will Lotto Texas see a break from the {3-2-1} Pattern? Will Powerball see an Australia Play encore?

June Has Left the Building

As of the July 12, 2016 drawing, June has released its grip on Mega Millions. We also saw a Pattern from last week make an encore appearance.

The winning numbers were 6, 8, 22, 46, 68, and MB 4.

The {2-1-1-1-1} Pattern made an encore, having just appeared in the July 8, 2016 Mega Millions drawing. This Pattern has now appeared in 110 out of 285 Mega Millions drawings to date. Having now played approximately 38.6% of the time, the {2-1-1-1-1} Pattern retains its position as the most commonly seen Pattern.

The numbers followed the [2-1-1-1-1] General Order, and has now appeared in 29 out of 110 drawings in which the {2-1-1-1-1} Pattern has played. Taking these drawings into account, the [2-1-1-1-1] General Order has played 26.4% of the time. If we consider all 285 Mega Millions drawings to date, we see that the [2-1-1-1-1] has played 10.2% of the time. This General Order previously played on May 13, 2016.

The [2-1-1-1-1] General Order gave way to the 2 1 0 1 1 1 Specific Order, which has now appeared in 8 drawings. Taking the 29 drawings in which the [2-1-1-1-1] General Order has appeared, the 2 1 0 1 1 1 Specific Order has now played 27.6% of the time. Taking it even further, the 2 1 0 1 1 1 Specific Order has played 7.27% of the time if we consider the 110 drawings in which the {2-1-1-1-1} Pattern has played. Finally, given the 285 Mega Millions drawings to date, the 2 1 0 1 1 1 Specific Order has played 2.81% of the time. As of the July 12^th drawing, the 2 1 0 1 1 1 Specific Order is in fact the most commonly seen Specific Order associated with the {2-1-1-1-1} Pattern and [2-1-1-1-1] General Order. The 2 1 0 1 1 1 Specific Order had previously played in the February 5, 2016 drawing.

And so we approach the halfway point of the month with June bidding adieu. Is this only temporary, or will Friday’s drawing see the return of Junes past? Will the {2-1-1-1-1} Pattern see a three-peat?

Lotto Texas {3-2-1} Four-Peat and Powerball {2-1-1-1-1} Encore

In the July 9^th Lotto Texas and Powerball drawings, we bid adieu to June and say “Welcome back” to the July 6^th, 2016 plays in more ways than one.

Lotto Texas

The winning numbers for the July 9^th, 2016 Lotto Texas drawing were 6, 19, 22, 28, 39, and 49.

For the fourth time in a row, the {3-2-1} Pattern has played! The {3-2-1} Pattern has now played in 710 of 1358 Lotto Texas drawings. With a stat of 52.3%, it retains its position as the most commonly seen Lotto Texas Pattern by a country mile.

The Specific Order was 1 3 2, which previously played on May 7^th, 2016. As of the July 9^th drawing, this Specific Order has appeared in 104 of the 710 drawings in which the {3-2-1} Pattern has played. This is roughly 14.7% of the time. However, if we take all 1358 Lotto Texas drawings into account, we see that the 1 3 2 Specific Order has played 7.66% of the time.

Powerball

Powerball’s winning numbers for the July 9^th, 2016 drawing were 10, 28, 32, 61, 64, and PB12.

These numbers played in the {2-1-1-1-1} Pattern and have now appeared in 31 of 80 Powerball drawings, or 38.8% of the time. This Pattern not only last played on July 6^th, 2016, it continues to be the most commonly seen Powerball Pattern to date.

The General Order was a [1-1-1-2-1], which also played on July 6^th, 2016. As of July 9^th, the General Order has appeared in 14 of the 31 drawings in which the {2-1-1-1-1} Pattern has played. This comes out to approximately 45.2% of the time. Taking all 80 Powerball drawings into account, the [1-1-1-2-1] General Order has played 17.5% of the time.

Last night’s numbers followed the 1 1 1 0 2 1 Specific Order, having previously played on July 6^th, 2016. Having now appeared in 5 out of 14 drawings in which the [1-1-1-2-1] General Order has played, or 35.7% of the time. With all 80 Powerball drawings to date taken into account, the 1 1 1 0 2 1 Specific Order has now been seen 6.25% of the time.

We ended the previous week with June loosening its grip on Lotto Texas and Powerball. Is this only temporary, or will plays of Junes past come back and dominate? Will the Lotto Texas {3-2-1} Pattern make a fifth consecutive appearance, and will the {2-1-1-1-1} Pattern see a three-peat?

The Ghosts of Junes Past

Last night was a big one for Mega Millions. Someone in Indiana finally won that big jackpot (Congratulations!) and June continues to bust out all over.

The winning numbers for the July 8^th, 2016 Mega Millions drawing were 8, 19, 20, 55, 73 and MB 5.

The {2-1-1-1-1} made an appearance, having last played on June 28^th, 2016 and continues to be the most commonly seen Pattern to date. After last night, the {2-1-1-1-1} Pattern has appeared in 109 of 284 Mega Millions drawings. This comes out to about 38.4%.

These numbers followed the [1-2-1-1-1] General Order, and is the most commonly seen General Order with the {2-1-1-1-1} Pattern to date. Like the {2-1-1-1-1}, the [1-2-1-1-1] General Order previously played on June 28^th, 2016. As of the July 8^th Mega Millions drawing, the [1-2-1-1-1] General Order has appeared 30 out of 109 times, or 27.5%, whenever the {2-1-1-1-1} Pattern has played. If we take all 284 Mega Millions drawings into account, the [1-2-1-1-1] General Order has appeared approximately 10.6% of the time.

The [1-2-1-1-1] General Order gave way to the 1 2 0 1 1 1 Specific Order, which previously played on June 16^th, 2015. This Specific Order has now appeared in 5 of the 30 drawings in which the [1-2-1-1-1] General Order has played. That brings its stats up to 1/6, or roughly 16.7%. Taking all 109 drawings in which the {2-1-1-1-1} Pattern has appeared, the 1 2 0 1 1 1 Specific Order has played 4.59% of the time. If we take all 284 Mega Millions drawings into account, we see that the 1 2 0 1 1 1 Specific Order has played 1.76% of the time.

The June Is Strong With These Two

Just like we saw with Mega Millions on Tuesday, the Lotto Texas and Powerball drawings were covered in June. Not just any June, but this past June. We also saw a Lotto Texas three-peat!

Lotto Texas

The winning numbers for the July 6, 2016 Lotto Texas drawing were 2, 3, 17, 35, 41, and 44.

The winning Pattern was a {3-2-1}, which in fact played on July 2, 2016, making this a three-peat appearance. As of the July 6, 2016 Lotto Texas drawing, the {3-2-1} Pattern has appeared in 709 times out of 1357, or 52.2%.

The Specific Order was a 3 1 2, which last appeared in the June 22, 2016 drawing. The 3 1 2 Specific Order has now appeared in 127 of the 709 drawings, or 17.9% of the time in which the {3-2-1} Pattern has played. If we were to take all 1357 Lotto Texas drawings into account, then the 3 1 2 Specific Order has appeared in about 9.4% of the drawings.

Looks like Lotto Texas had one foot in June, and one foot in July.

Powerball

Powerball’s winning numbers for July 6, 2016 were as follows: 2, 24, 31, 57, 66, and PB 18.

These numbers played in the {2-1-1-1-1} Pattern, and has now appeared in 30 out of 79, or about 38%, of Powerball drawings. Prior to the July 6^th, drawing, this Pattern played on June 8, 2016.

The General Order of the night was [1-1-1-2-1], and as of the July 6^th drawing has appeared in 13 out of the 30 drawings, or 43.3% of the time, in which the {2-1-1-1-1} Pattern has played. If we take all 79 Powerball drawings into account, then the [1-1-1-2-1] has appeared 16.5% of the time. Just like the {2-1-1-1-1} Pattern, this also appeared in the June 8, 2016 Powerball drawing.

Last, but certainly not least, we have the Specific Order. The July 6^th numbers followed the 1 1 1 0 2 1 Specific Order which last played…get ready for this…June 8^th, 2016! Not only did Powerball embrace the June, it embraced June 8^th all around.

With that said, the 1 1 1 0 2 1 Specific Order has now appeared in 4 out of the 13 drawings in which the [1-1-1-2-1] General Order has played. That’s about 30.8%. However, if we were to take all 79 Powerball drawings into account, the statistic would be 5.1%.

Even though June didn’t totally dominate, it had a pretty strong hold. What will Saturday’s Lotto Texas and Powerball drawings have in store?

June Is Busting Out All Over!

Last night’s Mega Millions really brought out the post-Fourth of July fireworks. We saw repeats for the Pattern, General Order, and Specific Order, but more importantly, all of them had played just last month! Although the calendar says we’ve started a new month, June decided to stick around a bit longer.

The winning Mega Millions numbers for July 5^th, 2016 are 29, 46, 53, 64, 73, and MB 10.

These numbers played in the {2-2-1-1} Pattern, which has now played 91 times out of 283, or 32.2%. In fact, this Pattern last played nearly two weeks ago on June 24^th, 2016.

The {2-2-1-1} Pattern gave way to the [1-2-2-1] General Order, which as of last night’s drawing, has appeared in 23 of the 91 Mega Millions drawings in which the {2-2-1-1} pattern has played. That brings this General Order’s stats up to 25.3%. If we take all 283 Mega Millions drawings into account, the [1-2-2-1] General Order has appeared in 8.13% of the plays. Prior to last night’s drawing, the [1-2-2-1] made a previous appearance on June 7^th, 2016.

We also saw the 0 1 0 2 2 1 Specific Order make its third appearance. When was its second appearance, you wonder? Are you ready for this?

June 7^th, 2016.

Out of the 23 drawings in which the [1-2-2-1] General Order has appeared, the stats for the 0 1 0 2 2 1 Specific Order have gone up to 13%. Taking into account the 91 drawings in which the {2-2-1-1} Pattern has played, this Specific Order has played 3.3% of the time. Taking it even further, if all 283 Mega Millions drawings to date are taken into account, this Specific Order has appeared in 1.1% of them.

And it’s not over yet.

Last night’s Mega Millions saw the appearance of a Four-Number Combination in the form of 29, 46, 64, and MB 10.

The first appearance of this lovely combination was a little over two years ago…on June 24^th, 2014!

Will more June bust out in Friday’s Mega Millions, or will other months edge their way in?

Saturday Night Repeats: {3-2-1} and {2-2-1-1} Edition

Last night’s Lotto Texas and Powerball drawings were all about repeats!

Lotto Texas

The winning numbers for July 2, 2016 were 1, 8, 12, 22, 26, and 37.

These numbers played in the {3-2-1} Pattern, which in fact appeared in the June 29, 2016 Lotto Texas drawing! This Pattern has now appeared in 708 of 1356 drawings, or 52.2% of the time. No doubt about it; the {3-2-1} Pattern continues to dominate Lotto Texas!

The Specific Order from Wednesday did not appear. Instead, we saw a 3 2 1 Specific Order, making its number of appearances 126 out of 708 drawings, or 17.8% of the time that the {3-2-1} Pattern has played. The 3 2 1 Specific Order made a previous showing in the April 13, 2016 drawing. If we were take all 1356 Lotto Texas drawings into account, this Specific Order has played 9.3% of the time.

We also saw a Four-Number Combination in the form 1, 8, 22, and 26.

Prior to the July 2^nd drawing, this Four-Number Combination played December 21, 2013.

Powerball

Powerball’s winning numbers for July 2^nd, 2016 were 10, 34, 39, 59, 63, and PB 4.

Once again, the {2-2-1-1} Pattern made an appearance this week, bringing it up to 27 out of 78 Powerball drawings, or 34.6%.

The [1-2-2-1] General Order also made an encore, now having appeared 11 times out of the 27 drawings in which the {2-2-1-1} Pattern has appeared, or 40.7%. As of the July 2, 2016 Powerball drawing, the [1-2-2-1] is the most commonly seen General Order associated with the {2-2-1-1} Pattern. If we take all 78 Powerball drawings into account, then the [1-2-2-1] has played 14.1% of the time.

Unlike the Pattern and the General Order, the Specific Order from Wednesday didn’t appear. Instead, we saw the 1 0 2 0 2 1 Specific Order play. Out of the 11 appearances of the [1-2-2-1] General order, this Specific Order has played twice, or 18.1% of the time. The 1 0 2 0 2 1 Specific previously played on May 28, 2016.

Looking ahead to the July 6^thdrawings, will the Lotto Texas and Powerball Patterns make a three-peat appearance?

{3-1-1-1} Shows Up for the Fourth

The month of July started off with the return of a Pattern we just saw two weeks ago. Talk about starting the holiday weekend with a bang!

The winning Mega Millions numbers for July 1, 2016 were 20, 41, 42, 45, 49 and MB 14.

These numbers played in a {3-1-1-1} Pattern, which was last seen on June 17, 2016. After last night, the {3-1-1-1} Pattern has now played in 47 out of 282 Mega Millions drawings. This is approximately 16.7% of the time.

The {3-1-1-1} Pattern gave way to the [1-3-1-1] General Order, which was previously seen on May 31, 2016. This General Order has now appeared in 14 of the 47 drawings, or 29.8% of the time, in which the {3-1-1-1} Pattern has appeared. If we were to take all of the 282 Mega Millions drawings to date, the [1-3-1-1] General Order has played 5% of the time.

The [1-3-1-1] General Order broke down into a 0 1 3 0 1 1 Specific Order, which, prior to last night, appeared almost a year ago on July 31, 2015. Given last night’s drawing the 0 1 3 0 1 1 Specific Order, has appeared in 4 out of the 14 drawings in which the [1-3-1-1] General Order has appeared, or approximately 28.6%. This would be 1.4% if we were to take all 282 Mega Millions drawings into account!

We saw a Three-Number Combination in the form of 45, 49, and MB 14, which previously appeared on December 9, 2014.
