These numbers followed the {2-1-1-1-1} Pattern, which has now played in 111 out of 287 drawings. With a tally of 38.7% percent, the {2-1-1-1-1} Pattern is without equal in Mega Millions. It remains the most commonly seen Pattern to date! This Pattern previously played on July 12, 2016.

The {2-1-1-1-1} Pattern followed the [1-1-1-2-1] General Order. As of the July 19th drawing, this General Order has played 25 out of 111 times, or 22.5% of the Mega Millions drawings in which the {2-1-1-1-1} Pattern has played. If we take all 287 drawings into account, then the [1-1-1-2-1] General Order has played 8.71% of the time. Prior to last night, the [1-1-1-2-1] General Order last played on May 27, 2016.

The [1-1-1-2-1] General Order gave way to the 1 0 1 1 2 1 Specific Order, which has now appeared 9 out of 25 times, or 36% of the drawings in which the [1-1-1-2-1] General Order has appeared. If we take all 111 drawings that had {2-1-1-1-1} as the winning Pattern, then the 1 0 1 1 2 1 Specific Order has played 8.11% of the time. Finally, looking at all 287 Mega Millions drawings, then the 1 0 1 1 2 1 Specific Order has played 3.14% of the time. Prior to last night, the 1 0 1 1 2 1 Specific Order last played on October 16, 2015.
